Leanne’s career in the interior design and construction industry began over 15 years ago, since then she has become a recognized and respected figure through award-winning projects, active involvement in industry associations, brand ambassadorships, and participation in panel talks and mastermind groups.

In addition to Leanne’s role as Founder, Co-Owner, and Principal Designer at Designtheory, she manages and oversees all residential and commercial construction projects actively maintaining close client, contractor, trade, and vendor relationships while also leading the firms’ brand evolution, growth, and social media marketing efforts. Her business development skills are driven by an undeniable entrepreneurial spirit, proactive attitude, and strong leadership skills.

Over the past decade Leanne has maintained active involvement in the design and construction industry through her role at DDA Canada (Decorator & Designer Association of Canada) as a National Board Member since 2018, most recently holding the position of Vice Chair and Chair of Events. She also supports the next generation of design professionals by volunteering annually as a Guest Judge for the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) and DDA Canada Student Design Awards.
